Families of Israeli hostages ask Canada to help free them #shorts

The families of some of those taken hostage by Hamas during its Oct. 7 attack on Israel came to Parliament Hill on Monday, asking the federal government to step up its efforts in securing the release of their loved ones. Foreign Affairs Minister Mélanie Joly urged Hamas on Monday to release the hostages, saying they may include two Canadians who are still missing. Canada has also deployed a team of hostage negotiation experts to the region.
