Americans willing to pay $100 monthly for weight-loss drugs: U.S. poll

A new U.S. poll suggests that nearly half of Americans are willing to pay up to $100 a month for weight-loss drugs. The weight-loss industry has seen a surge in the use of injectable drugs like Ozempic, which is typically used to treat Type 2 diabetes. Dr. Samir Gupta, Canada Tonight’s medical contributor, discusses some of the advancements and also explains how the herbal supplement berberine works.
