Cheeseburger ice cream and watermelon burgers lead foods at this year’s CNE

Would you try pickle cotton candy, a peanut butter chocolate corn dog or a four-pound taco? Those are some of the gut-busting options at this year’s Canadian National Exhibition (CNE) in Toronto, which runs from Aug. 18 until Sept. 4 at Exhibition Place. CBC Toronto’s Greg Ross got a sneak peek at some of this year’s deep-fried foods, rides and shows.
