Did the Flo period app share private information with Facebook?

A Canadian class-action lawsuit against Flo, a popular fertility tracking app, has been allowed to go ahead. It accuses the app of sending users’ intimate health information to companies like Facebook without their knowledge, which Flo denies. If the claim succeeds, more than one million people who used the app in Canada over a three-year period will be eligible to claim damages.
