Edmonton model with Down syndrome to appear in Times Square ad

This 7-year-old model is ready for her close-up.

Freya Schultejann will make her debut on the big screen in Times Square on Sept. 9. The Edmonton model is a part of a campaign aimed at raising awareness about Down syndrome.

CBC’s Radio Active in Edmonton spoke to Freya and her mom about the once-in-a-lifetime experience.
