A look at Monday’s Edmonton weather by Environment Canada.
It’s 17 C at the Edmonton Blatchford weather station, with 10 km/h winds from the northwest.

There is far less smoke in the air this morning and even though there is still a special air quality statement from Environment Canada the air quality health index has dropped down to a 4.
The daytime high today is expected to hit 21 C and Environment Canada is again calling for a 30 per cent chance of rain this evening in the amount of 20 to 30mm which sounds like a lot.

I’m no specialist but it does feel like they’ve been calling for a chance of rain for the last couple of days now so here I am with my fingers crossed we get something.
If I’m being honest I’d like just an afternoon to just sit outside and not have to worry about coughing my face off that’s never pleasant.
Well let’s see what Monday has in store for us, shall we?

Wind southeast 20 km/h gusting to 40 becoming light near noon. Wind becoming northwest 20 gusting to 40 this afternoon. High 21 C. UV index 7 or high.
Tonight: Periods of rain. Risk of a thunderstorm this evening. Amount 20 to 30 mm. Wind northwest 20 km/h gusting to 40 increasing to 40 gusting to 70 before morning. Low 14 C.
