A deal is in the works to get 20 trucks of aid across the border from Egypt into the Gaza Strip, but Richard Makepeace, a former U.K. consul general in Jerusalem, says ‘a few trucks is really not going to do a great deal’ and any aid convoy would face serious challenges there.
