Homes destroyed in Alberta, Muslim nations condemn Qur’an burning protest | The World This Weekend

Cleanup is now underway in Alberta’s Mountain View County, where a tornado carved a 30-kilometre path of destruction on Saturday. And, a group of Muslim nations is calling for new measures to prevent acts of desecration to the Qur’an. It comes after a man burned a copy of the religious text during a protest in Sweden earlier this week.

These are just some of the top stories on the July 2, 2023 edition of The World This Weekend.
