‘I admit it was terrorism,’ accused killer of Muslim family said to detective

On Friday, the jury at Nathaniel Veltman’s murder-terror trial in Ontario Superior Court in Windsor, Ont., watched video footage of the statement he gave to police a few hours after the attack on the Afzaal family. ‘I admit it was terrorism. It was terrorism — I admit it,’ the accused told Det. Micah Bourdeau according to the video evidence.
