The toll of the conflict between Israel and Hamas climbed significantly on Sunday, with fatalities on both sides reaching close to 1,000 people. A Facebook post by the Israeli government says more than 600 Israelis have been killed and Palestinian health officials have updated the death toll in Gaza to 370.
