Justin Trudeau and Doug Ford denounce Hamas attack on Israel

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said at a rally in Ottawa held in solidarity with Israel, where he told the crowd, ‘Hamas terrorists aren’t a resistance. They are not freedom fighters. They are terrorists. And no one in Canada should be supporting them, much less celebrating them.’ Ontario Premier Doug Ford also voiced his support for Israel at a rally in Toronto. Many countries, including Israel and Canada, consider Hamas a terrorist organization for carrying out suicide bombings and other attacks.
