Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has told his military to plan for the mass evacuation of Gaza’s southernmost city of Rafah ahead of an expected military ground operation. Andrea De Domenico, head of the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs in the Occupied Palestinian Territories, says such an evacuation would be a humanitarian disaster.
