Parkland RCMP looking for missing family west of Edmonton

Parkland RCMP as asking for the public’s assistance as they search for a family of three, that haven’t been seen since Dec.23.

According to a news release sent out late Monday, Mounties believe the Pelsma family may have went off-roading in their off-road vehicle, also known as a side-by-side in Lac Ste Anne County, and their intended destination was unknown.

Police are looking for 39-year-old Kelly Pelsma, 37-year-old Laura Pelsma and their eight-year-old son Dylan Pelsma.

Cops say Kelly is described as 5’9″ and 190 lbs with brown hair and blue eyes, while Laura is 5’4″ and 120 lbs with blond hair and blue eyes. Dylan is described as 4’9″ and 90lbs with brown hair and blue eyes.

The family’s side-by-side is described as a black Can Am Maverick Turbo.

Investigators are concerned for the family’s whereabouts. Anyone with any information regarding the whereabouts of the Pelsa family are asked to contact Parkland RCMP at 825-220-7267.
