Prosecutors lay out case in killing of Muslim family in London, Ont.

Warning: This story contains distressing details: On the first day of testimony at Nathaniel Veltman’s murder trial in Windsor, Ont., Crown prosecutors called three witnesses and laid out the evidence they’ll present to the judge and jury in Ontario Superior Court. Veltman, 22, is charged with four counts of first-degree murder, one of attempted murder and associated terror charges after the June 6, 2021, vehicle attack on a Muslim family.
