Provincial money announced for wildfire evacuees

Wildfire evacuees will be offered one-time financial assistance from the Alberta government for those displaced for at least seven consecutive days.
Alberta Premier Danielle Smith announced the aid Monday afternoon. Every eligible evacuated adult will receive $1,250 and an additional $500 will be available for each dependent child under the age of 18.
