Homicide investigators are probing the death of a security guard after a fight broke out at a Downtown Edmonton parkade early Tuesday morning, city police say.
In a Tuesday news release, Edmonton police said officers were called at 5:50 a.m. to a downtown parkade in the area of 101 Street and 102 Avenue. It was reported to police that a man was fighting with a security guard.

Upon arrival, officers found the security guard in medical distress, police said. Emergency medical services paramedics treated the man on scene and took him to hospital, where he died.
An autopsy is scheduled for 9 a.m. Thursday.
Police said the suspect remains at large as homicide detectives comb through video surveillance from the area.
