When she’s not pitching for Team Canada, Alli Schroder is fighting wildfires in her home province of B.C.
“It’s just kind of chasing the next adrenaline rush,” she said.
Even though it’s been a record-breaking fire season, Schroder said she still finds time to practice while on duty — as long as she has her baseball glove and finds a fence.
