Trump’s speech should address ‘exhausted majority:’ ex White House speechwriter | Canada Tonight

Former U.S. president Donald Trump will address the Republican party with a speech, expected to begin after 10 p.m. ET on Thursday. Trump says ‘it’s going to be a whole different speech’ written after the assassination attempt on the weekend. Mary Kate Cary, a former White House speechwriter for George H. W. Bush, says Trump has an opportunity to reach the ‘exhausted majority’ if he doesn’t focus on President Joe Biden.
