The University of Toronto’s pro-Palestinian encampment has left campus grounds before a 6 p.m. deadline imposed by a court injunction. The injunction was granted by an Ontario court on Tuesday, allowing the university to call the police to disperse the protesters if they didn’t leave by the deadline. The group behind the encampment said it was a ‘massive victory’ and that they showed how the university ‘played an active role in this genocide.’
