Why so many people are single right now

More people than ever are single in Canada — with the biggest drop in romantic relationships among those in their mid- to late-20s. That’s all according to Statistics Canada, which looked at relationships across the country over a 40-year period, between 1981 and 2021.

So why is that, and what does being single look like today?
