One video posted online showed at least three police officers on the second floor of the mall with weapons drawn.<\/p>\n<p>The first official announcement from WEM was posted on X at 3:41 p.m., warning people to \u201c<span>remain in the closest secure location until the lockdown has been lifted.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p>That same account sent another post at 4:05 p.m. indicating that the lockdown had ended.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<span>The emergency situation has now been resolved,\u201d it said.<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">West Edmonton Mall is currently under lockdown. Please remain in the closest secure location until the lockdown has been lifted.
