Joseph Jasso and Eastyn Culp combined on a three-hit shutout as the Ridgefield Raptors routed Edmonton 11-0 on Wednesday on the road.<\/p>\n
Jasso pithced six innings, striking out three and walking one. Culp, a Heritage High grad, was perfect over the final three innings, striking out two for his first save of the season.<\/p>\n
Though the pair of Raptors pitchers didn\u2019t need a lot of offensive support, they got it. After being held to six hits in a 4-2 loss Tuesday, Ridgefield\u2019s bats erupted for 15 hits with six hitters recording at least two hits.<\/p>\n
Justin Stransky went 3 for 5 with an RBI double and a pair of RBI singles. Corey Nunez also went 3 for 5 with three RBI, including a two-run double that put Ridgefield ahead 4-0 in the fifth inning.<\/p>\n
Ridgefield continued to tack on runs, with the exclamation point being a four-run top of the ninth.<\/p>\n
Ridgefield (27-13) and Edmonton (11-27) conclude their three-game series north of the border Thursday at 6:05 p.m. The Raptors then return home for a two-game weekend exhibition series against the NW Star Nighthawks.\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n
