Postmedia may earn an affiliate commission from purchases made through links on this page.<\/p>\n In 1983, a group of vendors began setting up in the gravel parking lot to the east of the Arts Barns, which originally housed Edmonton transit buses and was known at the time as the bus barns.<\/p>\n The Fringe Theatre Adventures moved in to share the space with the Old Strathcona Farmers Market (OSFM) in 1995 and with significant renovations, the Arts Barns were created. Saturday is free and along with the regular market open from 8 a.m.-3 p.m., 83 Avenue, a.k.a.
